Putting the Co-operation into Co-Working (SUP-X 2019 Panel Video)

Thanks to the internet, many people now have the opportunity to work pretty much anytime and anywhere they can connect. As a result, the demand for shared offices and co-working spaces is booming. However, at Startups.club we consider ourselves more than just a co-working space. We are also a hybrid incubator, providing mentoring and other services intended to help Startups improve and grow their businesses.

There’s something magical that happens when you put a group of creative entrepreneurs under the same roof. There’s an energy and excitement in the air as each team strives to bring their vision to life and change the world. That energy, call it the “Startup Aura,” spreads and rubs off on everyone working at Startups.club. With open, shared and communal workspace we see each other in action and are constantly inspired and motivated by the passion and drive we see in the hallways and across the room.

Our current members represent Startups in different industries, at different stages, and with founders of different experience levels. Some are first-time founders. Some are serial entrepreneurs. All are dedicated to building a great company. And all have learned a lot from each other and the experience of working alongside other likeminded Startups.

At the recent SUP-X Startups Expo in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, three of the founders discussed their experiences and the beneficial cooperation and community they found working at Startups.club. There’s some great advice for Startups in their discussion, even if you don’t plan to work at a co-working space. Moderated by .CLUB Domains CMO Jeff Sass, the panelists include:

Naiké Owens, Founder & CEO, Melanin Sweets
David Gimes, Founder & CEO, Paw.com
Alex Frost, Founder & CEO, Flora.bot

You can watch the video of the SUP-X Panel above.

Welcome to Startups.club

We love startups. We love entrepreneurs. We love ideas. There are few things as invigorating as the thrill of having an idea, and then seeing that idea come to fruition. To see your dream, your concept, your product, your business, become a reality is an energy that fuels the spirit of an entrepreneur. It’s the energy that makes a startup start.

The team behind Startups.club is the Registry Operator for the new top-level domain extension, .CLUB. What excites us about the domain industry is seeing what great entrepreneurs do with their domains. Seeing the great ideas and innovative businesses that come to life behind a .CLUB domain name is the most rewarding part of our business.

.CLUB is a startup. We are entrepreneurs ourselves, and we love being around and helping other entrepreneurs. So, when it came time for us to find new office space, we decided to get more space than we needed and open our doors to a select group of startups we could share both our workspace as well as our experiences and passion for entrepreneurship. So “Startups.club – workspaces and more for Startups” was born as a hybrid co-working space and incubator. We offer a great 24/7 shared office environment combined with mentoring and other services to help you start and scale your business.

Our new building at 701 N. Andrews Avenue in Fort Lauderdale, Florida will be ready for occupancy in February 2020. It will have 8 dedicated offices (2 are already “sold”) as well as an open area for floating desks. Everyone has access to two conference rooms, a podcast studio, kitchen and lounge area, private phone booths, and lockers/mailboxes.

Our first Startups.club location in FatVillage has 7 startups presently on board, representing a great diversity in industries, founders, and stages of progress. From pet products to whiskey, to robotic florists, to fashion accessories, mobile apps, sweet desserts, and accounting services, our Startups.club members prove that innovation and entrepreneurship is alive and well in Fort Lauderdale!
